2025-10-27 BNI+ & Connect Integration – Upcoming Enhancements

Hi BNI Leaders,

Thank you once again for your feedback this week. As we move into the next phase of integration, I’d like to share a few important updates focused on what’s coming with the November 8th release.

Bug Fixes and Additional Enhancements

1. Profile Picture Formatting

• Profile pictures imported from Connect were previously square, which caused them not to fit properly within the rectangular frames on member slides in BNI+.
• Moving forward, all profile pictures will remain square-shaped, ensuring a consistent display and avoiding distortion.
• Logo’s will remain rectangular frame.

2. Reset Meeting Agenda & Slide Settings

• BNI+ will now include an option to reset the meeting agenda, slide order, and timings to their default settings.
• This makes it easier to revert to the standard layout after customization.

3. Configurable Chapter Display Name

• A new “Display Name” (or “Short Name”) field has been added for each chapter.
• This allows chapter names to be shown more clearly and concisely in slideshows, improving readability and presentation.

New Updates: PALMS Integration with Connect

• Connect will now send PALMS information hourly instead of daily.
• As PALMS data will come directly from Connect, regional-level configurations for PALMS display will be removed.
• The manual entry of PALMS details in BNI+ will no longer be required.
• Emails requesting members to fill in performance details will stop after the November 8th release.

TYFCB Display Enhancement

• Large TYFCB numbers will now display in a localized, shortened format:
• US: 13,000,000 → 13M (Million)
• India/Asia: 13,000,000 → 1.3Cr (Crore)
• This update also resolves layout issues caused by long numeric values.

Included in November 8th Release

• PALMS: RGO, RGI, 121, CEUs, TYFCB, Visitors

Not Included in November 8th Release

• Registered Visitors list (only weekly PALMS statistics included)
• Roles: Chapter roles defined in Connect (including Director and Ambassador assignments)

Notes on PALMS Data

• Updates will be hourly as PALMS are completed.
• “3 Months” and “6 Months” columns will be removed from data tables.
• Display will now include: Last Week, Last Month, YTD, and 12-Months.
• All user access will change from “Edit” to “Read Only” for metrics data.
• No users can make changes to metrics data within BNI+.
• RGO and RGI will be merged into a single category called “Referrals” for display purposes.
• On November 8th, historical data for one year will be imported into BNI+.
• Once live, Connect will begin sending all COMPLETED PALMS hourly (only completed records will sync).
• PALMS integration will be fully completed by November 8th.
• ROLES integration release dates will be shared once the roadmap is finalized.
