BNI+: Adding and Opening Video Links for Your Meeting
Add a video link to a featured speaker or an agenda section, then open it from the meeting controller. This guide shows the featured speaker, Networking Education, and Close Meeting examples demonstrated in the video.
Before you begin, have your video’s sharing link ready and open the correct chapter and meeting in BNI+. The example uses a Dropbox link to an MP4 video. You will need access to edit the speaker or agenda section.
Add a video to a featured speaker
1. Open the featured speaker
From Home, find the Featured Speakers card. Click the speaker’s name to open their setup page. The example uses Amanda Applicant.

2. Choose the video-link option
Scroll down to Files/Links. Select URL to Video File. In the demo, this changes an existing presentation entry to a video link. To add a separate entry, use + NEW.

3. Paste the video link
Click the field below URL to Video File and paste the complete sharing link. The field is narrow, so only part of a long link may be visible.

5. Open the meeting agenda
Return to Home. Open the Meetings menu and select Agenda.

6. Open the section’s files
Find Networking Education in the agenda. Click the small person icon beside the section name to open its files. Hovering over the icon shows “Click to view section files.”

7. Enter the video link
In Files/Links, select URL to Video File. Click the field that appears and paste the complete video link.

C. Example 2: Add a video to Close Meeting
9. Open the closing section’s settings
Return to Meetings > Agenda and scroll to Close Meeting. Click the section name in the left column to open its settings.

10. Assign a responsible member
Under Responsible for this Section, open the Member(s) list and select the member who will manage this section. Click Save. The example assigns Grace Ecarg.

11. Open the closing section’s files
Back in the agenda, click the small person icon beside Close Meeting. This opens the section’s Files/Links page.

D. Test and open the videos
13. Launch a test meeting
Return to Home. Under Deliver, click Test Meeting. This opens the presentation and meeting controller together in a split view.

14. Open the Networking Education video
In the controller on the left, click Networking Education to expand it. Find the video link and click Open Link.

15. Play the video in its player
The link opens the Dropbox video player in the demo. Click the Play triangle at the lower left. When finished, switch back to the BNI+ test meeting window.

16. Open the featured speaker’s link
In the meeting controller, click Feature Speaker(s), then select the speaker’s name. In the speaker panel, click Open Link to open their saved content.

17. Open the closing section’s video
Return to the meeting controller and click Close Meeting to expand it. Click Open Link inside the video-link box. The video opens in its player, as it did for Networking Education.

Helpful reminders
- Paste the complete sharing link, even if the field displays only part of it.
- Test playback and audio before the meeting.
- Switch back to BNI+ after using the external video player.
