What is BNI Academy?
BNI Academy is BNI’s new learning platform, designed to support a simpler, more reliable, and more consistent learning experience. It will replace BNI Business Builder and serve Members, Directors, and Leaders across all regions.
When will BNI Academy be live?
BNI Academy will be live the week of February 16th.
When will BNI Business Builder be shut down.
All access to BNI Business Builder will end on February 6. This includes access for all levels - from members, leadership teams, directors and franchise owners. Even the admins are losing access at this time. Please plan to complete any activity by end of day on Thursday, February 5th to be sure it is recorded properly.
So, BOTH systems will be shut down between February 7 and 16? What am I supposed to do? What will my Members do? How will new members take MSP?
OK - let's take those one at a time:
- Firstly - it is just a week - we will survive just fine :- )
- For CEU's you can always take advantage of plenty of other sources, like reading Dr. Misner's latest book, or checking out www.bnipodcast.com, or check out the BNI Tech Talks weekly webinar.
- For MSP - if you offer a live MSP training in your area, encourage members to attend the live training. Other than that, we can only suggest patiently waiting until the new system comes online.
OK, it is February 16th, how do I log in?
Actually - you can test your login RIGHT NOW! Just go to www.mybni.com and check it out using your current BNI CONNECT username and password.
MyBNI is our new portal for all things BNI! You will see that BNI Connect, BNI Business Builder, BNI Insights, and Ask I.V.A.N are all already there. On February 6th, the Business Builder icon will go away and the week of February 16th the BNI Academy icon will show up! Just like magic - you don't have to do anything else.
Will all my completions of the stuff I took before come over?
YES! The completions of stuff done in BNI Business Builder will transfer over to BNI Academy.
What about in progress stuff?
Mostly yes. If you are partway through a training program, like MSP or LT Training, it should carry over your progress of completed courses. However, it isn't going to bring over if you were part way through an individual module, such as if you left off 16 minutes into a video but didn't finish it.
What about my leader board points?
BNI Academy does not have a leader board, so the points will not be carried over.
How soon do people get access after they are inducted (reconciled) in BNI Connect?
New members and roles should gain their access within a few hours of the transaction happening in BNI Connect.
