Use of Visuals in Weekly Presentations

Hello Community

I am into the category of Photography. Sharing this story that i experienced in BNI. I have been regularly showing pictures shot by me in my weekly 30 seconds presentation using the projector of the chapter. I introduce myself and ask my specific ask in the first 10 seconds and then play a slideshow of images in the next 20 seconds. This has given my business a huge boost as visuals have a great impact.."what is seen is what is sold". It triggers minds and you get referred instantly..most importantly visitors are attracted. I have got instant business every week.

I want this community is give their feedback on the same, is this a great idea that should be continued ?

  As far as I know you don't break any BNI rule.

  Are you aware of any rule book or any website of bni where these rules are mentioned ? The reason I’m saying is every region, every chapter is following its own so I want to be sure the rules are common as bni is a international platform.

  I tried seeking the guidance of the leadership team which was ok with me displaying visuals for all these years.. all of a sudden I’m being told bni rules have changed and I can’t display visuals which has been working so well for me and others in the chapter. There is no discussion on why this is stopped when it’s a tried and tested method and it’s delivering results. This is the prime reason I asked are you aware of any rule book. As i feel I’m reasonable so is my request because it works. What’s seen is what’s sold. Talkin over with words isn’t as impactful as visuals.
