making a connection is not effective

I tried to make connection with other members from other countries using web portal, after sending messages, below are the problems 1. i do not get resonses from the other end. 2. i use android app and i cannot check who i have initiated connect with 3. in phonr app, i cannot see messages sent for problem 1, i am sure is caused by 2 and 3 above because there is no prompt, as such it is highly inefficient.
