Visitor approval of attendance.
Do you have any rules on when the visitor will be approved? Sometimes when we invite visitors they stay up to 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour during the meeting but needs to go and not able to finish the meeting. This type of cisitor will be considered as visitor or not? Do we have a ruling where who will be considered as visitor or not? Base from length of time he was in the meeting? Sometime visitors gets dropped and often times they try coming back in. And were not able to finish because of connections. Should the officers consider this as a failed visitor and not be approved?

@maria - there is no official policy surrounding this. I think when it comes to "credit" for the visitor, we are acknowledging the effort of a member to successfully invite the person to the meeting. The next recognition after that would be when that visitor becomes a member and they become the sponsor. The length of time a visitor stays at a meeting is not considered at this time.
Hope this helps!
