Simplifying the visitor registration
Hello. We are trying to make it easier for everybody to invite visitors and grow our teams. One area where we have created difficulty is in the registration process.
I don’t think that there is any real reason to require a member or a visitor to select two-tiers of detail for their industry categories. Applicants, yes… visitors, no.
The high-level category should be enough.
It is often difficult for visitors and members alike to find a category that suits. Sometimes the specific category is unknown and this causes frustration in the process.
I like well oiled and simple processes.
I propose that we move from having a two-tiered system for visitors to only having one. Is this something we can change to improve our visitor (and the members registration) experience?

@wendy - thank you so much! If you go to www.bni.com and test the registration process there you will see a preview of a similar process to what you are suggesting. This will become available to the country, regions and chapter sites in the relatively near future :- )
