Markdown for Member profiles
Are there any plans to introduce Markup support for the member profile page, which is displayed as part of the chapter website?
I know that some html is supported, but I can imagine that the simplicity of Markup would make it more accessible for member to customise their own page. It would help members to easier to link to external image files to display on their profile. Most people do not know HTML.
Markdown uses a simple syntax for example
# symbolises a level 1 heading
**text** bolds the text etc.
It is that simple that it would easily fit on cheatsheet on the side of the editing window.
There is a number of client apps using Markdown (Things, Omnifocus, Day One,...)
If it is not in the pipeline, I want to suggest this a feature request.
