iPhone 17 pro max corner button issues

On the BNI connect mobile app the buttons in the corners of the screen are not tappable on the iPhone 17 pro max. This makes it impossible to navigate away from some menus. I believe that if the corner buttons were slightly closer to the center of the screen then they would be intractable.

  I came here to report on this. Specifically, the top of the app does not respect the boundary of the area where the clock, Dynamic Island, and signal strengths are shown. It makes it almost impossible to navigate the app because the icons are untappable.
