Confidentiality conflict using BNI connect
I am a medical practitioner and many of my referrals are patients that I see.
I give them my BNI colleagues contact details and let them contact them.
The app does not allow me to register a referral unless I supply a valid contact number. This will require me to break patient confidentiality and privacy laws in my country.
Please consider removing this requirement from the app.

@bernd - The recommendation in these cases it to put your own phone number into the referral slip with a note to contact you for details. That way you are maintaining confidentiality while also able to participate in the slips tracking process. If you are comfortable, you could use things like initials or other coding so that you can recognize the referral without giving any private information away.
Hope this helps!
