In person return
Although I personally feel there is a lot more to this covid-19 pandemic than most people know. I personally feel, open up. However do to the many circumstances, I believe that from a BNI standpoint and protection, guidelines will have to be put in place. Distance, masks, etc. then upon those guidelines put in place, it will then be up to each chapter to take those guidelines and incorporate them into each of there environments. If they have enough room where they meet. They may have to find another meeting place, especially if they are using a high risk meeting room. May have to be hybrid meetings or even stay with zoom until they figure something out. Bottom line. BNI will have to put rules in place to protect the company and then it’s up to each and every chapter to figure out how to incorporate those rules in to there situation. Also quickly, because there are going to be some very confused chapters, there should be an area in BNI for chapters to call or email for guidance, because it will be needed. Wether this is simply done through the directors or BNI support. But I feel there should only be one way posted for them to get the help or direction that they may need to move forward through all this.

Mr. Nau wrote the above 9 months ago and I still cannot find a written policy from BNI about when in-person meetings will restart. What are the guidelines and requirements? After a year we should all have a copy of the plan. Everyone else has a plan.
