BNI Connect app (and website)
- When you want to register a visitor, you need to correctly 'guess' correctly the category they are in then the business speciality. Very cumbersome. Eg 'electrician' is under what 'category'? Luckily, after scrolling through them all I guessed Building but my frustration and stress levels were rising quickly!!! Particularly as I am a Director and was trying to show a newbie member how simple it was to use (he was an electrician). And, you can't select Speciality to see what comes up (nothing does)
I have also noticed this on the BNI Connect website as well, both for registering visitors and for setting up a new member.
This 'feature' is annoying and stressful and with 'smart' databases, probably unnecessary.

@michael and @helina - point well taken and you are absolutely correct. This is currently a cumbersome process and it is definitely one we are looking into for the future, though it is something of a fundamental change to the way the system operates. We hope to have a better solution to this and thanks for your patience while we do figure this out. Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Agreed! It takes way too long to register them. The categories aren’t logical. Can you remove this as a required field at minimum?
