Search by chapter

Why can I only search by name location and profession? Why can't I search by location and chapter? I want to send a referral to another chapter and don't want to go to the website directory

  @russell - we definitely have it in our list to further enhance and refine the search options in the mobile app and have marked this down as a "vote".

  Hi Russell,

  You can definitely search by location with city, state & country. It is in the Worldwide Search. As for chapter name, I agree that it is a great addition. At this moment, you can search by member's name as well.

  I still cannot search for chapters (March 2020) as my colleagues two years ago. Even if I enter the name of the city, as "best results" I get members name from different countries! E.g. I wanted to find a contact for somebody new to visit a chapter in Bratislava. The first members shown are coming from Italy, Hungary, ...
  Did I miss something such as an option?
  If not, kindly please look into this matter. It is essential for connecting.

  February 2021, still no search by chapter.

  If you ask me, inside an organization build around chapters, that would have been the first search method I would have added, but that's just me :-)

  I've seen several posts on the ability to search for member results by Chapter dating as far back as 4 years.  Is this on the roadmap?

  If the challenge is getting a seperate Chapter field added, an easier option may be to add an index to the existing Keyword field, so we could put in "%Chapter Name%" and it retrieve results by Chapter.
