Registering Substitutes

It would be helpful to be able to register substitues, similar to how we register visitors, so they would get a reminder email, instructions on being a sub, info about our meeting etc...

  @lindsey - the ability to differentiate between visitor\guest\substitute is something we have on the list for future development and have added this as another vote towards that becoming a reality.  Thank you so much and have a great weekend!

  This is very bothering and very simple to implement on the list of visitors just give us an option to register a sub - it should have been done at the beginning of BNI Connect as we are all allowed to have subs

  When this can be expected to be alive?

  It makes sense to be able to differentiate that a visitor is going to be a sub - helps the visitor team as well. Ought to be easy enough to just add a check box to the visitor registration page

  Something like:

  Is this visitor a substitute for this visit? Yes  No (check boxes)

  Hoping this gets added soon.

   

  The other issue is to ensure that the capabilities to register are fully functional on the mobile app and website. Right now, there's only some things that can be done via website only...

  Also, providing the “script” to the email would be very helpful. And would definitely help the visitor hosts in larger chapters.

  This thread started 3 years ago, and still no update to BNI Connect on registering Visitors... I've even tried to trick the system by putting a dash after the first name and type "sub" but then BNI Connect removes that part when the registration goes through.  This feature is really needed.

  Julie,

  Great news - at least the starting tip of this is coming in a release mid summer, most likely July/August.  With that release we will be able to mark whether a registrant is a first time visitor, repeat visitor, member, sub or guest.  Although it won't have special emails, that is a consideration for the future.

  Is it also planned to add the option of choosing who am I substituting when I register myself as substitute for another chapter? For example a dropdown list of the chapter members or at least a blank fieldd?
