@kim - thank you for the suggestion.  We do have many requests for a public facing API though at this time it is not able to be done.  It is under consideration and it will continue to be discussed and prioritized as a possibility for the future.

    Hope this helps!

There are no immediate plans for a public facing API at this time.

I also want to support this request. Honestly, even a read-only API would already help a lot. We are not asking for full access or complicated write functions. Just a simple way to read basic BNI Connect data would be enough to support many useful tools, like chapter dashboards, reminder systems, follow-up workflows, and member activity tracking. Right now, a lot of this has to be done manually, which takes time and makes it harder for chapters to stay organized and proactive. A secure read-only API would already be a huge improvement and a very practical first step. I hope this can be seriously considered.

I'm highly support this request as well. As a member of a new chapter, it is a hassle having to keep track of chapter meeting attendance, visitors and other activity data on Google Sheets. Having a read-only API will make it so much easier for chapters to make their own customised dashboards or even apps to keep track.

This request is very important to me too and I think that it will benefit BNI that you allow the teams to make their lifes easier.

Publishing an API with readonly access would be a great start.

    Hi there,

I reached out to this thread while searching for the BNI Connect API.

Currently, we are spending way too much time manually extracting data to track our members' progress. Because of this administrative bottleneck, we don't have enough time left to actually analyze the data and focus on strategic insights.

If an API were available, we would be able to:

    • Automate report generation based on real-time numbers.
    • Provide more tailored, detailed support to individual members.
    • Maximize the efficiency and value of using BNI to its fullest potential.

While we could technically build a workaround system using web scraping, we feel it has too many downsides—both in terms of development/maintenance costs and the unnecessary load it puts on your servers. An official API is definitely the right way to go.

I would highly appreciate it if the development team could bring this up in your next product meeting and seriously consider implementing it.

    Thank you for your support!
