Proposal for Changing the Font in Japanese Documents

I am writing to express my gratitude for BNI. As a member and Vice President of my chapter, I would like to propose an adjustment concerning the font used in our Japanese application forms and documents.

It has come to my attention that the current documents utilize a Chinese font, which has led to incorrect displays of some individuals' names/address and errors during registration processes. This has caused considerable confusion among the members of BNI Japan.

To rectify this issue, I strongly recommend switching to a more universal Japanese font. The ‘Noto Serif Japanese’ font, in particular, is compatible across various operating systems and guarantees the correct representation of Japanese characters.

I hope you will consider this proposal and proceed with the adoption of a suitable font. This change is anticipated to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of document usage within BNI Japan.
