Where do I find find out what a good referral is ?

  Hi Ian,

  This is a good and tough to answer question.

  Technically, there is an indicator (temperature) when member sends in a referral. Referral partner will check this indicator to find out how "hot" the referral is. In reality, it may not reflect the urgency and closing rate of the referral.

  Below is an old explanation of referral temperature. Please use it as a guide only.

  

  During Connect training, I have always asked what kind of referrals you want? How hot should it be? The answer is always 5. To get 5 stars referral, you will need to give 5 stars as well, and to give 5 stars referral, you will need to fully understand your referral partner's business by doing 1-2-1.
