BNI Connect Timer

The BNI Timer app got a little refresh, and I love the simplicity of it. But it really needs a few improvements to actually be usable and useful:

1. Keep time when the timer app is the background! Currently, the app stops timing if it is in the background. Why?

2. Provide a way to change the sound! Currently, the timer has only one sound. Personal preference for sound is very subjective and somewhat dependent on the environment.

3. Play the timer sound when the phone is silenced! Members are required to silence their phones during BNI meetings, but this should not affect the timer sound.

4. Make status bar visible! Currently, the status bar (battery, time, wifi, etc at the top) is black on a dark maroon background and barely visible. Just make the elements white instead of black.

5. Start app instantly! This simple app should NOT take 3-4 seconds to launch on a late model iPhone. Most other apps launch instantly (and are far more complex).
