App won’t allow any phone number to be a valid number in slips! Cannot enter referrals!

I'm having the same problem! Can't even copy and paste a phone number, and even after manually modifying it to be the XXX-XXX-XXXX format vs (XXX)XXX-XXXX it will not accept it. When will this be fixed?

@all, phone numbers can only be numeric, without symbols or spaces, i.e. 1234567890.

@ Mr. Allan Lau Kim Wah, this is right but very annoying since you cannot copy/paste a phone number. So you have to write down the number on a piece of paper and type it in the app. This is 2017!!

Mr. Wah, I see your point but have 2 comments:
1) Support has admitted there is a bug with this that makes it hard to use and this will be addressed in a future release. Even using just numbers (I tried that as well as multiple other iterations) the system sometimes will not accept it as a valid entry. Cut and paste from a contact list does not work, making it highly inconvenient.
2) What about phone extensions? If the best number to reach someone is an office number combined with an extension number, normally one would include the number, plus “ext” or “x”. For example: 532-223-5555 x12. Or even in a non-symbol format (which is quite hard to read)... 5322235555 ext12. How are we meant to give this critical information to our members when the system forces us into a prescribed format and only allows numbers?
I am looking forward to the update where this issue is resolved and the system is more flexible and user friendly in this regard. Overall, I am loving the app!

We have this same issue in the UK where we don’t have anything other than numbers in our numbers! The app is getting better but this is a day one issue that has still not been fixed!

There is still a problem entering phone numbers. I have been trying to enter information to announce a new visitor for the past 2 days and it simply won’t work. We work so hard to grow our group and the technology problems make us look completely unprofessional. Looks like this problem has been going on for years. When will it be corrected?

Another issue: when inputting a referral, there is the ability to select a person from my contacts. After doing so, I still need to input a phone number, Even though the number is part of the contact info
