Managing Chapter Speakers - Small fix
- The intended audience that would use this feature - Secretary/Treasurer, Leadership Team
- How it would enhance the BNI experience or process - Efficiency for Sec./Tres
- What specific functions this would include - The ability to edit a Speaker's Date, simply by clicking the edit button.
- Any other details that would help the business analysts, project board, and BNI Community to better envision your suggested enhancement to BNI Connect. -
Currently, after entering in a speaker date the only way to adjust the member's speaking date is by deleting the date and re-assigning through the creation of a new task. There is an edit button you can click next to an assigned speaker, but it only allows the user to edit the description of the speaker topic; not the speaker name or date. If I could edit any of the original keyed in items - name and or date, then it would be so much more efficient when members switch their presentation dates; or when a chapter event ends up having to push all the member back a week.

Editing the speaker dates would be great, (start at the last entered speaker and work back so you are not doubling up)
It would also be handy if we could just enter a guest speaker and everyone else automatically moves down a week
we had a venue let us down, so all speakers need to be moved back one week.
At least it is only 4 speakers I need to delete and re-enter. (after entering 12 speakers before we went into lockdown)

This post is 7 years old and nothing has been fixed. We just cancelled a meeting for Hurricane Milton and I have to delete every speaking assignment and reenter everything. Why can you set it up to edit more than the speaking topinc?
