@shirley - great idea!  This is something that we will certainly consider and we are adding this to the list for the future.  Thanks again and have a great holiday weekend  :- )

I think it would be helpful if there was an icon for the passport progression on the app. It would simply list the one to ones that are expected. When the member completes one , they check it off and they enter who it was with and the date. Then they can see their progress and hopefully the leadership team and mentor coordinator could see a quick snap shot of the member's progress. Then when it's completed, they get a badge on their app and the chapter gets notified to recognize them. I think we recognize these members at the part of the meeting where we induct new members.
I love the passport program. It is the best thing I have seen since I have been in BNI. I had to fight to learn the ropes. It took me 1 year to find out I had to have a visitor to get 100 on traffic lights. Some months I hit it and some months I did not. However, no one could tell me why.
In our chapter of 82, it has become a beast to keep up with. We are creating spread sheets and having to ask members where they are. I feel like a spreadsheet is a step backwards. If I was a new member and there was a section on my app that I could see my progression... That would motivate me to knock it out. I have run this idea past a few people and they have been very supportive of it. Currently, we have 19 passports in progress. It's a full time job keeping up with that.

Where are we at with this? We use a spreadhseet as well and with 70+ members it's hard to track and have someone hound them for their status with the Passport.

We now have a chapter of 130. We have 2 ambassadors and a mentor coordinator. It’s just really difficult to track. Even in the small chapters of 20-30..... there just isn’t a way for me as a leader to see where someone is in the program. Maybe the answer is to track it on BNI University. I do not have the solution but it’s frustrating that we have the best tool but no way to track it.

It might be more of a project for Megan Chitwood than Jeremy.
