Registering a visitor
I just tried to register a visitor and it is a TRULY PAINFUL process. The app fails to bring all the details through from my address book so I need to type all this in again. I needed to scroll all the way through the list of occupations to try to find one that fitted. Having selected an occupation, I was constrained to one of three "specialties" (shouldn't this be "speciality"?) which didn't really fit. Surely, if I want to add a different occupation, I should have that option? Having saved all the details and filled them all in again, I've still received no indication that my VP has been informed so I'll ring him anyway!
Great concept. Could do better.

@phil - I am going to create a support ticket from this so that our testing team can walk through the process with you to find out if it is an issue with the app (for example not pulling contact details) or with the process itself. Hopefully then we can make improvements for future releases - thank you for the feedback!

I feel your pain. Since this app is mirrored from the web version, it is set that way.
As for bringing the details from your phone book, there is still an issue if you are using iPhone. There will be a release tomorrow. So, please do update and test again.
For the profession and specialties, those are set by national/regional offices. You can check with your director consultant on this.
Lastly, when an invitation is sent, chapter's DC, LT and VH team will receive a notification. The system email is set to sent by default, if there is such email being set. If this is not happening, you will also need to check with your regional office as well.
