Door Prizes
Hi there. I had some negatively regarding the raps and referral part of the meeting without slips. In particular the door prize.
May I suggest for the individual member the availability of a summary of activity for the week and for the chapter a summary list (numbered ) for the LT so they can draw the weekly door prize.
Does that make sense?

Hi Mark. In South Africa we insist that members print their weekly activity and bring that to the chapter meeting to enter for the door prize. It is the "online slips" as well call it.
On the Home page, the last entry under "Enter Referrals, Enter TYFCB etc" is "Personal Meeting Activity" (or it might say "Print Weekly Activity". We select the date range (last week to this week) and print the slips as slips (not a table), cut them out, and bring those to enter for the door prize.
Otherwise I agree, it would be impossible to select for a door prize!
I hope this helps-2 -
Forgive the negativity, but for an organisation that is supposed to be going digital, this sounds like a mammoth cop out!
As someone who works in IT, I know for a system that is collating referrals, it isn’t difficult to produce a random selection of referral contributors that week and hit a randomise “lottery” selector.
This would also allow for the system to be up to date for the meeting. I receive referrals up to the start of the meeting, so printing something off the day before is leaving people out, and defeating the object.
prining things off and having to manually do something from a list is a step back from the way the system has worked for over 13 1/2 years (the term of my membership).
I think this does need a rethink and a longer term strategy.
