Google Maps and Calendar Integration

This suggestion is primarily aimed at the 1-2-1 slips, but it should also work well with referral slips.

It would be really nice if the BNI app could be set up to pull location information suggestions from something like Google maps and then automatically fill in full street addresses. Once the location/address has been filled in and the slip has been saved, tapping on the location field could then open the default map/navigation app to help you get there.

Also, it would be great to have an option on the 1-2-1 slips to send an email to the participants with an .ics file attached for easy import into Calendar apps/programs.

  David - Thank you so much for your feedback.  I think this is probably TWO different suggestions:

  1) Being able to schedule a 121

  2) Once scheduled, have Google map integration to be able to get to the meeting location.

  Does that sum it up?

  That would be a good way to put it. 

  The current 1-2-1 slip is more for after the fact use, not really for scheduling future meets.  Adding the Map App & Calendar App integration would make it much better suited for scheduling future 1-2-1.

  Also, the current slips can only be edited by the person who submitted the slip, even though it shows up in both peoples' lists.  It would be nice if both parties could edit, especially the subjects covered section.

  Thank you David - really hoping that they will give us the option to schedule 121's

  I am sure that by now we must have the technology to allow BNI members to schedule a 121 via the App.

  Something similar to Calendly hat will automatically send a request to your diary -

  To make sure that the meeting did happen, there can be a box next to the meeting that can be left pending till you actually have the meeting in which case you can just tick it off when you go in to schedule another 121.

  It will also help to remind you of intended 121's that you need to follow up on.

  I find that I often plan to have a 121 and then something happens and before you know it a couple of months has gone by and you still have not had your 121... 

  If the App become a handy tool to help reduce the admin burden, more members will use it and we will have better stats and less nagging people to remember to update.....
