I love the addition of the new visitor module. We've been using Google documents for a while at least to get members to register their upcoming visitors and substitutes, but I much prefer members entering their own guests direct onto Connect. The Treasurer just having to tick a box to show that they attended is great. I would like to think that if we have accumulated the visitor information would be able to print a visitor sign in sheet.  Am also looking to find out how to personalise the templates which are sent out automatically to provide more briefing information for visitors. Oh so often members do not tell their guests everything they ought to know which leaves the guest ill-prepared and sometimes embarrassed.

If a visitor registers as part of a Visitor Day event, will this still work? None of the visitors for that day show up in the Manage Registered Visitors search.

The visitor day event is a special function that is not associated with the regular meeting registrations.  If you wanted to use the event calendar for a visitor day AND have them use this function for registering, I would recommend turning off the ability to register in the event itself and put a link to the registration page for the chapter instead.

Jeremy, Love this aspect of the new system, if we could get the "invite by" column to show it would be perfect. Currently I cut and paste into a excel spreadsheet with the necessary disclaimers on the bottom for the visitor to sign when they attend the meeting.  Thanks

    Hi Jeremy,

It would be great if there was a free text field when registering a visitor, so that we can key in any info. IE: Attended visitors day on 17/11 and keen to come back for a "normal" meeting, hence will return on Dec the 1st.

    Cheers

    Hi Jeremy,

Why would the email notification per below, which was keyed in by me, as a member (and I used my email address for the guest) not say that it was I that has invited the guest? Shouldn't it?

    Cheers

@Richard - this is DEFINITELY something on the list as a future enhancement!  I hope to see that happen in an upcoming release, though we do not have a definite schedule for when that might be.

Who Has Access (what security level) to preform the  Managing Prospective Visitors and Marking Attendance?
Is this all members? Do Visitor Host have the ability to get there?  Is it only the C levels that can?
